Owner / Speech-Lanugage Pathologist
Patricia Riner-Costantino
M.S. CCC-SLP
"As a child I remember watching the story of Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan in the Miracle Worker, thinking how wonderful it must be to help someone get the gift of communication. It was such a powerful story that I wanted to be able to help others to "find their voices" too. I have worked in this field for over forty years and continue to feel the same excitement when a client makes progress toward their communication goals."

Pat graduated from Cal State L.A. in 1978 and has worked with a variety of ages and clients. She has worked both in the school system and in private practice. She has built a thriving practice helping thousands of children and families.

"I work with an excellent team that continues to inspire and teach all of us to be better therapists, listeners, and learners."

She places importance on the positive working relationship with parents/caregivers of her clients as working together helps strengthen the therapy process. Speech-Lanugage Pathologist
Emily Riner-Costantino
M.A. CCC-SLP
Emily grew up watching the magic of speech therapy and seeing what a fun career it could be and pursued her own career in the field when she knew that she wanted to work with children and have a job that made a true difference in people’s lives.
Speech therapy gave her the opportunity to work closely with her own family as well as support the families in the community around her. "I love walking in Montrose and hearing, “Miss Emily!” it's our speech teacher!"
Emily enjoys articulation therapy and language therapy with toddlers, focusing on a play-based intervention model.
It is a truly magical experience when a child first makes the connection that they have a voice and someone is there to listen and help that voice grow. The children who begin with very few words and lots of frustration because no one can understand them are some of the most rewarding people to work with.
"Each child needs a unique therapeutic approach to help them thrive in their environment. Making sure that my students feel heard, safe, and comfortable is my top priority in treatment. I always tell them “I know this is hard, but you can do it, and I’m here to help you” 10."
